Things Happening in our lives,? Let see
Shane is working long hours for the next week at work cuz he has two big projects due a day apart. He's been really good and leaving for work around 6 a.m. so that he can be home around 8:30p.m. Last week he didn't see the kids for 3 days since they were in bed by the time he made it home. This week I've tried to keep the kids up til he got home. Last night we were able to visit he Cousin Wesley from SD. Wesley was in town for a Conference for his work. It was great seeing him and having a chance to go out to dinner. I loaded the kids in the car drove down to pick Shane up at work, then to dinner further down South. Well worth it.

Kelli is doing great and enjoying herself in Preschool. We are building her confidence in her writing, coloring within the lines, and cutting out pictures. She does great repeating her memory verse for each week. Her patience wears thin with her brother but he can be trying at times.
Daniel we are trying to potty train, on Monday he told his dad on the phone he would not go potty in the toilet. Tuesday we had a good moment when he did go in the potty chair. Since then its been literally hit or miss. :-) Hey I've still got my humor tucked securly away.
Dakota is rolling but has added army crawl. So when sister or brother has moved something she was chewing on she'll use her skills to get the object. She is smiles unless she is out of whack. Which was the first three days of the week.
For Myself this has been a week of the lesson with patience. Just when you think you've got it undercontrol. Something new comes along to try it to the point of boil. Reading my bible, reciting memory verses posted to the sink wall, and reading study books that Shane & I are reading together have helped. Oh and lots of prayer. God has been very good to us and gives us only what we can handle. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning, but God gives us the means to stay afloat. Which we've been thankful for, and continue to praise His name.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend.
God Bless you and keep you

I completely understand! Do you ever find that when you need the kids to listen the MOST, they are stone DEAF!!!! And then you find yourself right in the middle of screaming directions and they still haven't even heard a word... Not a single word... Ahh to be oblivious... Lalala de dah... :)
Remember... selective hearing is a skill, and kids master it very young...
Just remember, some days they are so cute, you can't get enough of them... Just remember those days... Only the good days...
Take care!
