Kid update

I realized after posting yesterday I really didn't mention how the kiddos were doing. And most people check this blog out for the kid factor :-) So here we go... Kelli is doing good in school, she is counting down the days till Thanksgiving break. We have Parent/Teacher conference for her on Tuesday afternoon, which Shane is going to so he can bring up some issues we have with her teacher. Kelli's confidence in reading outloud is getting better, but she is still struggling with feeling confident about trying things out on her own. Daniel is still a ball of energy, we believe he is going through another growth spurt. I really don't know how he is doing in Preschool, they don't send any papers like they did at the Preschool we sent Kelli too. Kind of disconcerning. So we are going with no news is good news till we hear otherwise. His digestive problems seem to be getting better, then if he gets to much gluton it digresses. So we are really watching his wheat/gluton i...

Big News Friday, also known as God Provided.

The most exciting news is that the house in Lake Stevens has a renter who is hoping to move in ASAP. So I had my awesome Sister Neva who's birthday is tomorrow, and not that Dawna isn't as awesome ;-) clean out what we had left there. So yeah God.! We also sold the Pontiac, and got the first payment of two. It's amazing when we are about to give up how God answers our prayers. This couldn't have happened without Him. Now I just need divine inspiration to write the papers I want to write before heading down to my parents for Thanksgiving. :-) Everyone have a great weekend.

Counting down to Thanksgiving time.

The kids and Adults are getting excited about Thanksgiving at Grammie and Grandpa's house in Idaho in less than 12 days. Those who can talk ask "when are we leaving?" Shane has a test to take first and I have a couple papers and responses to write out first. Oh and a teacher/parent conference for Kelli. Weather has been rainy and sunny all week. It's a different rain then what we got in Seattle. Same quantity less days of rain. Had a good week last week, we recovered from the stuff we got, just some stuffy noses but nothing we can't handle. Had some girls from Shane's seminary classes over Thursday for Movie night. They are a great group of young ladies. Uhm, nothing much more. We are all doing good, and we hung the curtains my Mom made for the kids rooms. Thanks so much Mom! Wish you could have delivered them but we understand. :-)

We're still alive

This has been an interesting week in our household. Kelli brought the H1N1 virus into our home last Friday from school, poor kiddo. Luckily it was a mild strain, the other kids have had variations of this, and I've developed a head cold. We've been quarantined all week with Shane running errands and going to school. We've sold the Pontiac yeah!! A Seminary couple down the street needed a new car for the wife to commute to work and back. Not to much more like I said I've been quarantined all week with kiddos, Shane probably has a much different outlook on this past week then me. :-)
