Dimples & dents

We heard back from the Doctor's office Wednesday evening saying that Daniel did indeed break his foot, haven't heard anything since. This Wednesday we have an appointment with a Orthopedic doctor to see what else can be done. Meanwhile where the smiley face is on Daniel's foot is where the fracture is. He received the styling boot to wear until it heals. I've been finding it hard to convince him not to do things that could possible hurt his foot. It diffently affects him though at night time when his foot is resting & throbbing for all the activity he did during the day. om/-oEZrAsWkB2A/TWwpltxRcgI/AAAAAAAAByI/hLjvHrroFUE/s1600/Feb.%2B2011%2B013.JPG"> We received some unexpected snow Thursday morning, it didn't make any difference other than a change of scenery. It pretty much melted as soon as it landed at least on the roads & sidewalk. The kids enjoyed it and Shane & I got some cool pictures. Shane finished up his intensi...

God's strength is mighter than my own!

These last few weeks I've been getting a message, through hearing other people preach, teach, and giving their testimony about God's strength; " 1Ti 1:12 I thank him who has given me strength, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he judged me faithful, appointing me to his service, " God has been showing me throughout taking Daniel out of school, because of stresses and not knowing how to work through stress; starting to homeschool him for the next month and half; That by myself I'm weak, even though I think of my self as a strong person, with God he builds up my weaknesses so I can faithfully carry out the task he set before me. On Monday morning Daniel & kids were playing in Daniels bedroom, while I was doing dishes. He jumped off his bed and landed on his foot wrong, I called the doctor in the afternoon to see when they could get us in. I tried taking him in yesterday when Dakota was in school but it didn't work out. Today we got in and two hours later cam...

Amazing God, amazing circumstances...

To begin my little girl Dakota has turned 4 the weekend of the 30th in Jan. Even during the times she seems more winey than sweet, I praise God for a healthy vibrant girl who brings smiles to my face. Seth turns 2 on the 15th of Feb, which seems strange this is the first time since having kids that I haven't been pregnant during this time of year. No, no plans to have any more natural kids for me. Possible foster kids when Seth reaches 7, but that is up to God. These last weeks we've been blessed by sunny weather, converstations with friends that we are building new bonds with, God working in amazing ways seeing that our needs are met, before we ask for help. Sermons that inspire & make us think about where we are headed, and how we want to continue the work placed before us like God wants us too. Big changes; Since beginning of December we noticed that Daniel was starting to have problems making it to the bathroom during school, these occurances happened more once w...
