Amazing God, amazing circumstances...

To begin my little girl Dakota has turned 4 the weekend of the 30th in Jan. Even during the times she seems more winey than sweet, I praise God for a healthy vibrant girl who brings smiles to my face. Seth turns 2 on the 15th of Feb, which seems strange this is the first time since having kids that I haven't been pregnant during this time of year. No, no plans to have any more natural kids for me. Possible foster kids when Seth reaches 7, but that is up to God.

These last weeks we've been blessed by sunny weather, converstations with friends that we are building new bonds with, God working in amazing ways seeing that our needs are met, before we ask for help. Sermons that inspire & make us think about where we are headed, and how we want to continue the work placed before us like God wants us too.

Big changes; Since beginning of December we noticed that Daniel was starting to have problems making it to the bathroom during school, these occurances happened more once we returned from Christmas. Shane has been fortunate to be taking a Crisis Counciling class that shows how people deal with loss of a loved one or deal with a stressful situations. One section was about how kids deal with loss. It seems that Daniel is going through grief of loosing Papa Fred this last Oct., it started to click when Grandma Marie was here first of Dec. without Papa, then again when we saw Grammie & Grandpa Dennis at Christmas time. This last week we took him out of School and by the end of the week has been talking more & more about death & Grandpa Fred no longer being with us. We took him to the Doctor on Friday to get a different opinion then our own and the Doctor recommended we take him out of school for a few months which is basically til the end of the school year.

Luckily my schedule has been open with some structure, so I could add school for Daniel throughout the day along with chores and my own school work. To say it's packed is an understatement, but I know that God can help me through this with enough prayer and emotional support.

We've become members of Gateway Church which we've been attending since after Mothers Day of last year. They decided to wait until more of the Church body knew Shane & I better, so these last few Sunday's we've been going to different Sunday school groups meeting the members and fielding questions along with sharing our testimony. We have three more groups to meet before they vote on Shane becoming a Elder or not. It's been fun meeting the Berean class who are the 80-90 year olds, and the Sojourners which are 40's-50's. What a diversified Church we are at, very fun.

School is calming down relatively, Shane finished up his paper for the Jan term class he took before regular classes started, and I finished up my last electives class & my third semester of my Biblical Foundations program. I am now an offical Senior in College, I KNOW amazing...

We had a small party for Seth & Dakota this past weekend with the neighbor kids coming over for cake. We bought the kids balloons which they spent the day enjoying, we'll pick up something for Seth tomorrow, Dakota we got a dress for her and her dolly on her birthday.

Thanks for patiently enduring the silence, hopefully with re-organizing this schedule I will have more structured time to blog faithfully.
