Not Inspired

Image
As you can see this past week I've been uninspired to Blog. Most of the reason is I've been enjoying my husband company since he has not been to work since Friday the 21st. We had an uneventful Christmas with a sick Daniel, snotty Dakota cutting two top teeth. Next Day taking Daniel to the walk-in clinic and finding out he had strep throat. Today is the first time since Christmas he slept through the night and didn't wake up with a fever. Kelli is doing good, playing with her Dolls and doll house her Aunt Anna gave her. Dakota is trying to stand on her own and walking with help. We had a great Anniversary with me taking a bus to downtown Seattle. Meeting Shane near his office, and going out to dinner. We then went window shopping at the downtown Malls. When it got time to go home I told Shane that we could go cuz I saw my token Gay couple, street fight, homeless person, and enough mixed people to last a few more months til Baseball season.

Wool & Copper

As you scratch your head about the title, think of it as a quiz. No reading ahead! I'm sure some people might know what I'm talking about. Seven years ago today, I walked down the aisle all smiles focusing on my soon to be husband Shane. There is a great picture of my dad & I when we turn the corner and I make I contact with Shane. I have the biggest smile! What a joyous day, some fun little facts. Two days before my wedding I burned the ham & beans, so the families went to Jackpot NV instead and had dinner there. Parents rode together cubitizing about there respective children! Met Shane grandparents and his Cousin Wesley & Blaine. The day before my wedding I had a dentist appointment, Wade called me to say they had lost Shane in Target. Had most of Shanes family over at my house cooking the rehersal dinner. And they boys acting silly with their tux vest. The day of my wedding, two of my girlfriends and I got our hair done. Shanes Granddad told me next time he saw...

Hip Hip Horray!!

Yesterday God gave us quite the blessings, for working such long hours at work Shane got a substantial billing bonus. One of the bosses also told him how surprised he was that he far exceed the firms billing requirements for the year with taking the month off for Dakota. They are also going to give him a pay raise at the beginning of the year. Part of it is because they are loosing another paralegal, but also since Shane works very hard and brings quite a bit of money into the firm. :-) The other big blessing is within like 10 minutes after getting his billing bonus, he checks his email to find that he has been accepted into Multnomah Bible College in Portland Oregon. He is to start there degree completion program in February. SO yippee! What amazing things God is working in our lives.

An Early Christmas

To start the tale, last Sunday my sisters, brother in-laws, cousin, and niece all got together before we head are seperate ways for the actual Christmas day. The kids had fun playing with "Uncle" Steve, and the rest of the relatives. Eagerly anticipating sitting on their new bikes Aunt Neva & Uncle Jason got them. We got warm jammies from Aunt Dawna & Uncle Kurt, books from Uncle Steve, Carmels, Calendars, pictures, gift cards, New DVD/Video player. Since ours died earlier this fall. We had a yummie meal, and fun just hanging out with family.

Yippee My sister Dawna & her family have joined the blogger world. http://dennisedelmann.blogspot.com/ I'm very excited. Not sure where she found the time. Don't know where any of us find the time these days. Kids are recovering from colds this past week, myself included. Shane is working long hours trying to get various projects completed for different clients. He has already by the end of November reached his billing requirement of the year with like 1500 hours. He is at like 1575 hours since Friday. That is including the time he took of for Dakota being born or vacation in July. From when the kids didn't feel good this past week. Pretending to sleep on the cedar chest. God Bless, Kristi

Christmas Program

Last night was Kelli's school Christmas Program. Oh My she isn't old enough yet! The music director picked some more advanced songs. So if they knew the words they would Sing them loud and clear. If the didn't it would be silent. :-) Kelli's friend Kyla bless her heart would try even if she wasn't sure of the words. The little girl in glasses is Kelli's friend Kyla Posing for Dad! We also got snow last Saturday. So pictures of Kelli & Sherman enjoying the snow.
