Christmas Time

Image
We had a really good Christmas time this year. We were blessed that my Mom was up here helping out with my Sister Neva's little one Thomas. We've had snow almost everyday this past week so we have appr. 12 inches maybe more on who you ask. Shane is out in the shed building Dakota a Toddler bed. I'm excited he's finally has the time to play with all the wood he's accumulated throughout the years :-) Have a blessed & safe New Year.

What Shane & I did for our Anniversary

Image
Shane & I are celebrating our 8th Anniversary today. We are snowed in and are staying warm Yeah! Shane bought the kids a sled to play with yesterday, but we finally (to the kids) got to play with it this morning. I have narrowed the selection of shots to just a few, almost a few dozen but not quite.

Snow Update

Image
Well we are having a break in the snow right now. It's suppose to start again tomorrow evening with 50 mph winds included into the snow. Can you say "enough"!!! When I logged onto the computer this morning the weather said it was 9 degree's. It feels like we are back in Southern Idaho were both of us grew up. On Wednesday night after visiting with Neva & Jason to get out of their subdivision we had to break out the chains (literally) never been used since we bought them 2 years ago before Dakota was born. Here are some fun pictures of the scenery from this morning. You'll have to wait till later for kid pictures. :-) Yes I love my new camera I got for my anniversary and have been using it a lot. :-)

Winter fun

Woke up to another snowy day, it was warmer then it's been the past two days. Everyone in the family, dogs included are enjoying the snow. It's suppose to snow on and off for the rest of the week. Sounds like we are not the only ones. It's about 5 inches so far accumulated.

Went to my Midwife, everything still looks good and on time. She told me not to deliver early, then again I've always been right on time!

Announcing with there blessing the Early Arrival of Thomas Wayne Pursel. He arrived yesterday via c-section, Mom & Baby are doing well as expected for this early arrival. Jason is going to be putting pictures up on their website eventually and if I get some with permission I will post some on mine.

Getting back to normal

Image
We are slowly getting back to normal around the house. I think I'm to loads of laundry not from the trip to Idaho. Kelli has the day off from school so we are going to be purchasing something new to decorate with for Christmas. Since being further along than I realized I've put getting the Christmas decorations from top of the red shed on Shane's to do list. Kelli has been asking all week when we can decorate she hasn't yet mastered patience. :-) Daniel & Dakota aren't quiet "normal" yet from being in the car for so long. Little bit of some neat nature shots I took this past week in Idaho! Retaking my bath after Mom got me dressed

Our Time in Idaho

Image
Thank you to both of the Moms who helped Shane & I get to Idaho this past week. It was great spending time with you both and was a termindous help to us. Thanksgiving was a blessed time with Shane's family in Idaho City, Idaho. We rented Knotty Pine Lodge which had plenty of room for the kids to play or watch movies, while the adults played cards. It was neat that Shane's Grandma Joy could join the festivities. All the meals & desserts we shared were delicous and the games we played fun without too much competition. Thank you for the Memories! The days before the Girls and I met up with Shane & his Family, we spent in Buhl with my folks. My Mom along with high school friends hosted a Baby Shower at my Moms house. It was fun sharing that time with them and sharing stories. When we weren't getting ready or shopping we had lots of playtime/quiet time with Grammie & Grandpa. I have lots of pictures and a little but active Dakota on my lap so we will post m...
