We made it

Image
Well we figured out our schedule and are having our first week of success. No kids missed or were left at perspective schools. Shane made it to every meeting and class on his schedule and I found projects to keep me busy other than farmville. We had a couple really nice days of weather so I was able to walk with kids to and from school and when I wasn't picking kids up I would walk with Dakota and Seth. THe weather is trying to turn to rain, we've had some rain Friday and then again on Sunday. We had a dozen of Shanes classmates from Seminary over Friday night for games and socializing. We are blessed with some very nice friends down here. We also at the first of the year started going to First Presbitarian Church of Portland. You'll have to check out the website for pictures of the church. Besides being beautifully designed they have a wonderful Preaching staff. We are trying to on request from Wells Fargo re-list our house in Lake Stevens for sale at least for a while....

Reconfiguring our lives

With the beginning of each semester it takes us a week to reconfigure our daily routine. With school starting for Shane last week, me finishing up a class, and Kelli being sick we didn't get much of a schedule. Good thing were flexible :-) Kelli is doing better, Shane dropped a class so he's not is school from 8 a.m till 3pm Tuesday-Friday with no breaks in between. They also changed his job description from T.A. to Teacher Intern which comes with a higher pay scale. Yeah! Were trying to give the house in Lake Stevens back to the bank after 6 months of unsuccessful marketing. :-( Not fun. Seth is getting so big, his top four teeth are in, and he really wants to walk more then a step. Dakota is almost 3, Daniel ate something that messed up his digestive tract. Yuck And I'm trying to do at least one big project a day so I don't spend all my time on Facebook playing Farmville. Thanks Shane & Tad

Time inbetween

I'm taking a little time inbetween working on my psychology final paper and doing the dishes. I'm thankfully almost done with the class and have a month off before I start American literature. Lets see recent happenings in the Portland Based Lambings. Shane starts his second semester this week, He's been lost and bored these last weeks. Finishing most of his required reading for his classes this semester and doing unfun task. Kelli is in her second week of school. Adjusting to going to bed early and getting up early. She got out of the habit during Christmas break, so she was a little snarky some mornings. Daniel went back to school today, thank the good lord. He is like a puppy that needs his exercise everyday or will start destroying the house. We've used some interesting phrases these past few weeks. Like "Seriously you hit your sister with the potato masher", or "Don't bite your sister on the butt". Dakota is all sweetness, with scre...

Time has surely flown since the last post. Shane & I made it through finals month, our anniversary that we celebrated with trip to Powells books and Olive Garden. We even made it down to Idaho to celebrate Christmas with my parents, cousin Tad his daughter Dalli, and Aunt Wilda. It was quite a fun time of relaxed play, sleeping in, shopping, and simply spending time with my folks. We came home with hitting snow the 20 miles of the trip all the way into Portland which made it and hour getting from outside of Portland before Multnomah falls to our house. It had started snowing that afternoon around three and had finally stopped about 10 p.m. The next day including today it has rained. Snow completely gone by before noon on Wednesday. We have had a quiet New Year, Shane & I have been reading our books we purchased at Powells and I've been doing my Psychology homework. The kids have been enjoying all the presents they received at Christmas time from all their Aunts, Uncles, Cou...
