Date Night

So Last Night, Chad bless his heart came over to watch the kids so I could go down to Seattle to meet Shane at his office. Then we walked over to the Mariners game against Detriot. We took some pictures of the various players, Kenji, Ichiro, Lopez, Rhodes, Morrow. The last three names are pitchers for the Mariners, and then Catcher, and Ichiro now plays center field and is an awesome hitter and base stealer. Shane & I have watched his career with the Mariners since he arrived from Japan the year or two before Kelli was born. We went the FanFare the year they signed him.

It was a great game, some obnoxious fans that I could do without. It's just a game! I wanted to say outloud quite a few times. We left our seats early to go watch Rhodes & Morrow warm up in the bullpen at the bottom of 7th. On the way to the game and back to the bus stop, the same drunk guy came up to my face and told me that "he loved me", and that "I should love my husband", I told him "I do very much and to have a good night". So I've seen my token weird person in Seattle. Shane just laughed at this.


Other fun news, Sherman ran off Monday afternoon cuz he was mad at me. The animal control officer picked him up. Since he didn't have tags they didn't know who to call. I called Tuesday morning, since he didn't return home on his own. And went to pick him up at the Police Station. He was very happy to see me, and has stayed in the yard or in the house since. I plan on finally getting him fixed this next pay period.

Fun game! I'll have to post some pics of the view from the Bees stadium here (triple A team owned by the Angels). It's fun baseball and the view of the Wasatch Front is great.

Debating about coming to Seattle for the Green Bay game, but must control spending!!! Augh!!!

I'm glad my doggie is 10 and too old to run off when she's mad at me!

Whew! Break for update

Long awaited update, we have made it through 7 weeks of school both for the kids and ourselves. It's been a productive semester, God has been guiding our steps and we're continually thankful for that! He has also been growing us and peeling off bandages of hurts I haven't dealt with. Through it all He remains faithful and I am most grateful for that. We've had a slew of birthdays roll through our house these past months. Dakota had hers on the 30th of January! She got some really pretty outfits from Grammie & Grandpa Aunt Nelma,Uncle Paul, and Cousin Steve. She also got a coloring book and sunglasses, another little doll, crown from cousins and neighbor kids, sorry if I forgot anything. We had a little party for her with homemade pizza! My little girl is now 5 years old, scary when she was once so little. My little boy Seth turned 3, February 15th. We had a family party on the day of his birthday. Month in review

As always it's remained busy for us this last month. We enjoyed a few days away from Portland at the end of March with Dawna, Kurt, and Girls; and Neva, Jason, Thomas, and Katherine. They are all getting so big, it was a treasure getting to spend time with all the nieces and nephew. Unfortunately, Kelli brought headlice home from school. Ugh! We are still battling this with the kids. I'm remaining vigilant. We had a great Easter with sunny weather, and school friends coming over for dinner. The kids dyed some Easter eggs Saturday afternoon which was fun to do. They all looked great in their new outfits. School is gearing towards the end of the semester so we are staying busy. It's been a good year thus far and we are looking forward to the journey of continuing.
