Trying to Finish Well!

Hard to believe Shane & I's little girl turns 2 today! Doesn't seem possible, but than again all of the kids keep getting older. We had her party with just us, Chad came over for Dinner and shared in the activities. Shane did a good job on getting balloons & some small gifts for Dakota. My Mom sent her an adorabable shirt saying "Happy Birthday to Me!" and a Sweatshirt. The kids got to do art before dinner, and I had lots of help making and decorating the cake. (Lots of volunteers to lick the spatula's.) We have Bible study tonight, then tomorrow we are going out to lunch with my sisters, cousins, and some college friends. It will be a big time but lots of fun.

Fun things happening in our house this last week. Dakota has figured out how to get in her crib when she wants time alone. She hasn't figured how to get out yet. Which isn't that bad of thing. Her second birthday is this Friday, can't believe that she's going to be two. She's grown up so much this past year. Daniel is still pushing boundaries, We bought him a little 57 chevy car fair condition Saturday at Value Village. It now looks like it's ready for the junkyard. It's missing two wheels the dash & steering column are coming out. I will take a picture of it and show the final result. Kelli is swimming by herself for short periods, like 5 feet between Mom & Dad or one of us and the edge of the pool. She is quite the fish now, and we are very proud of her accomplishments. I will get a picture of this because soon I won't be able to fit into my swim suit I've been wearing since Seth is dropping down. I over did it last Tuesday cleaning and...

Had a good extended weekend with Shane, went to my midwives yesterday. Everything is progressing nicely, three more weeks till due date after Thursday. Girls are still snotty but getting better, Daniel has still miraculously escaped same fate. I've needed this all day Mom. Styling in my shades Hi Mom! Not a lot new going on. . . Waiting patiently for appointments, & updates. I've entered my last month of pregnancy so now it can't go quick enough til Seth arrives. I still have somethings to do before his arrival, but I don't feel like getting those done til February. Kids are doing good just some small health issues.Kelli always ready for her picture to be taken. Saw my nephew today and got Shane took some pictures while I got a turn holding him. He's a cutie, but I'm bias. :-) Neva & Jason looked good but tired, been there about to do it again for Shane & I ;-)

There are the most obvious, with Seth being due in February, and Dawna's little one in March, all the family members having another Birthday. Some things were looking forward to happening, Shane finishing school and moving on to his Masters (God Willing), Daniel finally being all the way potty trained so he can start Pre-school next fall, Dakota getting potty trained (started working on that New Year's Eve Day), Kelli learning all she's suppose to, too move into 1st Grade, and me getting a bigger house for all the kids and things we've collected over the years. Good health for all of our family members near & far. My prayer for this year is whatever trails God puts us on may we rely on Him,grow stronger & closer together. Have healthy children, siblings, parents, & Grandparents. Love each other with all we got everyday and enjoy those days God gives to us. Have a wonderful New Year & God Bless

We had a really good Christmas time this year. We were blessed that my Mom was up here helping out with my Sister Neva's little one Thomas. We've had snow almost everyday this past week so we have appr. 12 inches maybe more on who you ask. Shane is out in the shed building Dakota a Toddler bed. I'm excited he's finally has the time to play with all the wood he's accumulated throughout the years :-) Have a blessed & safe New Year.

Shane & I are celebrating our 8th Anniversary today. We are snowed in and are staying warm Yeah! Shane bought the kids a sled to play with yesterday, but we finally (to the kids) got to play with it this morning. I have narrowed the selection of shots to just a few, almost a few dozen but not quite.

Well we are having a break in the snow right now. It's suppose to start again tomorrow evening with 50 mph winds included into the snow. Can you say "enough"!!! When I logged onto the computer this morning the weather said it was 9 degree's. It feels like we are back in Southern Idaho were both of us grew up. On Wednesday night after visiting with Neva & Jason to get out of their subdivision we had to break out the chains (literally) never been used since we bought them 2 years ago before Dakota was born. Here are some fun pictures of the scenery from this morning. You'll have to wait till later for kid pictures. :-) Yes I love my new camera I got for my anniversary and have been using it a lot. :-)

Woke up to another snowy day, it was warmer then it's been the past two days. Everyone in the family, dogs included are enjoying the snow. It's suppose to snow on and off for the rest of the week. Sounds like we are not the only ones. It's about 5 inches so far accumulated.

Well it finally did it after much talk it snowed early Sat. morning! It is now in the teens. Burrr! The kids & dogs love it. Last week of school for Kelli and Shane till the new year!

More pictures from this past weekend when we decorated the house. Kelli & Dakota found a different way to use a Christmas Stocking. Getting Christmas letter & cards out this week. Went to my Midwife, everything still looks good and on time. She told me not to deliver early, then again I've always been right on time!

We granted Kelli's wish this weekend, we got a tree & decorated the house. Both are very festive. Looking for the perfect live tree Each kid got turn putting up the Star.

Announcing with there blessing the Early Arrival of Thomas Wayne Pursel. He arrived yesterday via c-section, Mom & Baby are doing well as expected for this early arrival. Jason is going to be putting pictures up on their website eventually and if I get some with permission I will post some on mine.

We are slowly getting back to normal around the house. I think I'm to loads of laundry not from the trip to Idaho. Kelli has the day off from school so we are going to be purchasing something new to decorate with for Christmas. Since being further along than I realized I've put getting the Christmas decorations from top of the red shed on Shane's to do list. Kelli has been asking all week when we can decorate she hasn't yet mastered patience. :-) Daniel & Dakota aren't quiet "normal" yet from being in the car for so long.
