Trying to Finish Well!

I know it's been a while, but with Gary Pursel (my sister's father in-law) passing away, & kids getting sick it's been a crazy couple of weeks! The weather is getting nicer, wish we could go outside and enjoy more. What!!! See I fit in the box Mom! I'm ready to start fussing how about you?

Weighing in at 11 lbs. 24 inches, Dakota is two months today!! With all that hair! Daniel out weighs Kelli by a lb., and Sherman chews on everything when not in lock up. God Bless SKKDD

Hello all, sorry about long time no blogging. We've been sick since the 1st of March and am finally feeling better. I was sick on my birthday NO FUN!! Well we've added to the chaous once again. By adding Sherman a little border collie pup. The kids love him, Ivan tollerates him, and I enjoy him also. Thanks Wade & Anna! Dakota is doing good she avoided getting sick (Praise God) The weather has been rainy and sunshine, so we've all been outside to enjoy both. Here are pictures! Went in today for Dakota's 1st Month checkup. She is 9 lbs 7 onces, 22 1/2 inches! Kelli & Daniel are still adjusting but doing a very good job. Got an unexpected surprize yesterday 6 inches at least of snow around Snohomish County. Well at least at my house. Kids have been enjoying it, I would too if Shane hadn't given me his cold. So I'm maintaining functioning level til Shane gets home around 630pm. Snow on my car (out front door) I'm getting ready Mom Dakota at 1 month

Well this is the first day of the true adjustment Shane & I are making in our lives. Sure we've been adapting since day one of Dakota's life, but today Shane started back to work. And I'm the only adult with the three kids. Luckly we've had the three weeks to get back to some sort of schedule for Kelli & Daniel + Dakota. Who we're still working on awake time so she sleeps good at night time. Thank you to all the parents who came a visited/helped out. It was a true blessing! Thankyou for all the prayers and continued prayer that are appericated and a true god send. Keep them coming. Now for new pictures Dakota's curly hair! Only after her bath. Here is something that Marie will find humorous! So this is a story three weeks in the making. We received a netflix movie the Saturday before Marie arrived in town and we set it on the kitchen table. Later that night we thought it would be fun to watch, went to find it and we couldn't. Shane tore the house apart, looked through the garbage but no disk. When Marie was here we did a thorough spring cleaning still no disk. So I ended up buying it from netflix never thinking we would find it. Well the night before last I decided to empty out my bathroom garbage that was starting to overfill. As those of you connecting the dots, upon emptying it into the big garbage can I saw the cover of the netflix sleeve, and there was the movie we lost almost three weeks ago. Well Things are looking up for Dakota & Family. Her jaundice is getting better so Mom & Dad can get some sleep other than in hour stretches. Here are some pictures of Daniel & Kelli giving Dakota kisses.

Hello All, well new things in our family life? Dakota is gaining weight and battling getting over jaundice. Mom & Dad are short on sleep, trying to long on patients. Brother is learning that it's not nice to hit Kelli or push. and that Dakota isn't ready to play trucks with him or receive "Hi Fives". He says "no" and "thank you" after you give him something he said no too. Kelli is learning about being silent and listening to a conversation. We love her, and patients are key to life in this house. Shane's Mom left us to go visit her grand kids and daughters in Boise. She has been helping us spring clean our house for the past two weeks. My mom flies in for a short visit tonight til Sunday. Due to tax season. WE have a wonderful church family providing evening meals couple days a week. Shane & I are most thankful for that since Shane is tired of wracking his brain for meal ideas. We are hanging in there and thank everyone for the prayers...

Thanks to my sister Dawna for taking all the great pictures. We are still adjusting to the newest addition in the family and the stirring up of things. Daniel was put out with mom last night but with some forced loving has forgiven me. Kelli is such a great help taking diapers to the garbage & holding Dakota after feedings. Born Jan. 30, 2007 Here is Dakota Riley Lambing weighting in at 7lbs 12.9 onces, 20 inches 9cm. Just short of matching sister Kelli birth statistics. I know this will make some people mad but after being in active labor since 4pm til 9:17pm one push and her head was out, second push was for her shoulders. Full head of hair as you can see, so the 9 months of acid reflux was worth it once again. More pictures to follow Love, us all

Well we had hoped the proper winter with snow & freezing temperatures would stick around, but alas it didn't. Shane worked some late nights last week, since he took Tuesday off to take me to my midwife appointment since roads were slick from the snow. Dakota is doing good, I think she is going to be a big baby at least long. We are all trying to survive till Shane takes off of work and Marie is able to come down. Not much else to report Thanks for the comments, keep them coming. I love saying Cheese! So photogenic, I don't get it from my parents!

The snow storm promised Wednesday morning came and continued through the evening. Then temperatures really dropped and it froze and has stayed frozen. Kids enjoy it though I only let them out for about 20 min. then bring them inside to warm up. Taking it easy as I'm moving into the more uncomfortable stage of pregnancy as we prepare to have this little girl. My friend Tessa is due to have her little boy Monday via c-section. Not much to say, everything pregnancy wise is going good. Just counting the days til my mother in law arrives and Shane takes off from work. Kelli and Daniel continue to grow and show Shane & I continually how big they are. They now have there beds stacked, Kelli wants to go to bed early to sleep in her top bunk. Daniel isn't too sure, but if you stay with him til he's asleep he'll stay in his bed til morning. Were expecting another bad windstorm tonight along with chance of snow til Wednesday afternoon. I'm glad I don't have to worry about my trees falling on the cars. Neigh goes the horse! What a pair! Daniel the dinasour Love, SKKD
