Trying to Finish Well!

It was an uneventful week, well at least for the kids & I. Shane's work moved office floors on the previous weekend. So when he got to work Monday he only had 9 of the 40 some boxes he had packed. Luckily he found those. Then on Thursday his boss walked in and closed the office door saying "they needed to talk" and proceeded to tell Shane how much they appreciated his work and gave him a $3000 dollar pay increase yearly. SO praise the lord on that. Go to my next midwives appointment Monday and am doing the Glucose test. Hopefully all is well. Not very worried. Clapping with Aunt Neva! Well we got the car back from getting it fixed. I could easily become paranoid that it could be one of those cars that always get wrecked. I know that it is not! But I was watching other cars like they were all out to get me or me them ;-) While out we got Kelli a New pair of shoes at the outlet mall! They were an actual decent price and should hopefully last as long as her last pair. They flash when she walks so it has been lately "Mom make them flash". Like I have the ability to make them. So I tell her to walk around to make them flash. "Mom there flashing!" Got a possum in the chicken coop last night. TO say the least it is no longer a problem for our girls. One of them is loosing her feather so I found out that is a little bit late for Multing, so maybe something else is wrong with her. Story Time with Daddy! Oh and Suprise Fred and Marie we got a new Couch with Queen Hide a bed about 4 weeks ago. Thought it was about time to do so! Help Sis, Mom going to get me! Saw my new niece Wednesday, She is a cutie and Tiny! Same day smushed my new car getting on I-5, should be fixed by next week. Kids and I are safe with no injuries Praise the Lord!! Something I find myself doing continually. Go to my semi-annual Mariners game tommorow with Kids. Should provide interesting Love SKKD

The newest addition to the clan arrived safely after Dawna was induced Sunday night. Bryn Adeline Edlemann was born Sept. 25th at 1230p.m., 8lbs and 20inches. Well see her tomorrow, got pictures today. Love, Shane, Kristi, Kelli, Daniel

Hi All, well Dawna is 41 weeks pregnant and is waiting. She is still 3cm as of Monday morning. The doctor says if nothing happens by Sunday (Sept. 25) they will induce Sunday night and by Monday morning she will be ready to have this baby. My folks came up last Friday and are enjoying Kids & Grandkids.! Mom called us when they got in Friday night and asked when she could come over to see grandbabies. Shane took them over Sat. while I went to appointments. Things going well at home, the kids have a little bit of a cold so we are fighting that. My baby appointment Monday went well she is moving more daily, and has a good heartbeat. I've gained 7 lbs since the beginning of my pregnancy. Chasing two kids kinda of slows down weight gain. We have three chickens left out of six. The raccoon got two more last Wednesday morning we think. Didn't hear any noise until I heard them doing there clucking. Thought we lost three at once, but my Rhode Island attitude chicken survived she c...

Made some good connections with fellow Moms from our sunday school group "Encouragers". It's nice meeting people who are in the same stage of life that Shane & I are in. Kelli loves her "Monkeys" group, and Daniel is getting used to being separated from Mom for the Morning in his "Tigers" group. Also might be starting a Friday night bible study with 5 couples from the Encouragers group. Also the weather is holding and my tomatoes are doing awesome. Love, SKKDD

Hope this finds everyone who reads it in good health and having a wonderful week. It's been crazy busy once again at our house I think this will just continue for the period the kids grow up. We found out Friday that we are adding another little girl to the family Dakota Riley. Will see what name she goes by! One of our chickens got killed by something Monday night, so last night to protect them we moved in into the old kennel overnight. So this morning when I ask Daniel what shoes he wanted to wear he brought me sister's rain boots. So out we went to move the chickens back to the bigger pin for the day. Not much else going on except the normal everyday things. My Sister in law Anna is due this week on the 8th. And my sister Dawna is due the 16th this month. It's raining babies Yeah!! Love us all!

Daniel is getting so big that Kelli is no longer has all of the advantages. She has the length, he has the brawn. Tomorrow we find out who will be the third addition to this crazy clan, it will either be Dakota or Dustin. As most of you know, we bought a car last weekend to accomidate the new addition. Hello to all! The whole family came down with the stomach flu last week finally got feeling better Sunday evening. Daniel started it on Tuesday, Kelli & Kristi Thursday, and Shane Saturday. It took about a day after getting sick to feel somewhat good enough to function without laying down after each diaper change (for Daniel), sippy refill, or getting water or gatorade. Fun fun. Did a complete wipe down on the house Sat. with mopping floors, did at least 4 loads of laundry each day. Think we finally bet it. Daniel had his 15 month checkup today, weight 24lbs (dropped a lbs from being sick), 33 inches. Kristi has an ultra sound scheduled for Sept. 1st, getting excited. Tell us what you think it might be! The picture is of my Sister Dawna & myself this May in San Diego on the beach. I know it not the kids but new pictures will show up later this week.;-) Love, SKKD

Curious? Good! If all goes well we will reveal secret in October. Weather is beautiful here, tied up my tomato plants again yesterday. They are doing awesome, I'm getting excited if weather keeps doing what it is. I will have a nice harvest. Maybe even dry some, and can stewed tomato's. Yeah!! Kids are still doing good, enjoying the weather and eachother. Some more pictures from Idaho, haven't gotten camera out lately will do this weekend. Hi Everyone who reads this! Shane & I have big news for those who don't know, we are expecting our third kid. The baby is due either January 30th or February 1st. Shanes family is pulling for the first since two family occassions are on this date. I'm feeling better now that I'm through my first trimester. In other news the kids are doing great. Hey Everyone, the kids and I have been in Southern Idaho the last two weeks. We had a blast and a half. Playing with Grandma & Grandpa Dennis, our cousin Dally, celebrated Kelli's Third Birthday,visit with relatives & friends,& enjoy 100* weather. Shane was down the first four days then headed home, and then flew back down for the last four days. The first picture is my Grandma Dennis, Kelli & Dally whom is 4 days shy of being exactly 1 year younger than Kelli. This is the kids playing in the washtub during on of the hot weather days we had. I thought this was an adorable picture of Daniel and how comfortable he was on the horse. It reminds me of my cousin Tad, growing up he was always on horse back. He too would fall asleep while the horse was moving. It's nice to have horses that are comfortable with kids. Blackie didn't mind Kelli one bit. This past weekend Mom & Dad took Brother & Me to visit Grandpa Cowboy & Grandma. I got too see lots of relatives I didn't know, horses I did know, and I got too go riding everyday I was there. Dad gave me his cold so I wasn't very happy most of the time except while on "Blacky", I got to see "Sunny" the horse I got to ride last time I visited Grandpa Cowboy. Photos from Eastern Washington! The kids enjoy the weather! Not to much going on here, it hasn't decided what season to be yet! When it is not down pouring the kids & I get outside and take a walk! Much relief for all. The "Burb" is getting fixed this past weekend & will hopefully be running by Wednesday! Our next door neighbor took compassion on us and offered his services for $50 an hour. Can't bet that with short stick! My folks are coming up for couple days, so of course it will rain for my dad. He is convinced that it only rains here, he was stationed at Fort Lewis for 6 months and as he puts it "it rained the whole damn time". Hope this finds everyone in good health and spirits. Taking off to S.D. on Friday for Shane cousins Westley wedding, it will be good to see Sunshine again. Love, SKKD

Heh all long time I know been busy enjoy the weather, even though it's been raining the past 14 days or more. Today was a beautiful day. Kids are just getting bigger and bigger. Kelli is helping me more around the house and trying to pull weeds, I have to repeatedly point out "no honey that is daddy's rubarb". Daniel is constinently amazing me with the words he is saying or trying to say, started climbing stairs this last weekend at my cousins house. Went to Eastern Washington for my cousin Heather Cartwright graduation. The weather was absolutely beautiful, Ivan came along too. He went swimming for sticks, for about 2 hours. Like a kid he was hard to keep out of the water, so he wouldn't drown himself from being to worn out. Not much else, just busy traveling this month and next. Shane swears that we have something going on every weekend of June. And like the obliging wife I strive to make sure there is!! Hope all is going well in your worlds. Love, SKKD

Here are some more Birthday Pictures! First off though had a great 3 day weekend in San Diego visiting Dawna & Kurt. Helped sort and brought few items back with me. Yesterday was Daniel's first birthday! So naturally Shane & I have been reflecting the Changes that have come along in the years time. Starting off at 9lbs 21inches, to being 23lbs and 31 inches. From just rolling over, to walking quite well and talking up a storm. I'm very proud of both kids and how well behaved they are around others. As promised a picture of Shane & Kelli running around outside acting silly in the Sunshine! We had absolutely gorgeous weather Monday thru Friday, then of course cuz Shane was home this weekend it rained! House paperwork is coming along, designer is suppose to be here on Tuesday to look at site. Gearing up for this coming weekend with mothers day and Daniel's First Birthday yeah! Doesn't seem possible. Also Daniel has come up with a new cool habit, when asked a question and he wants to do it he will nod his head and say "yes". If the answer isn't "yes", he just looks at you like your silly. Another new thing is "Sister getup", he started this Saturday. Looks like this summer is going to be busy with Travel & work.
