More Christmas Adventure!

Image
To continue the night of the 22nd my sister Neva & her husband Jason arrived adding to the chaos to grown dogs adding the total of 6 adults, 2 kids under 4 and 3 full sized dogs. We had fun visiting, cleaning and making pies for big family dinner on the 24th. The 23rd Shane & I went to lunch without kids to celebrate 6th Anniversy. We went shopping also picking up any groceries Mom might have needed. My cousin Tad and his daughter came back over to play. We also to the two girls into town to try and explain that you buy gifts for others not just recieve. That night we found out that Dawna, Kurt & Bryn were going to make it down. They had come home a week earlier to find their basement and car garage flooded with 2 foot of water. And the pump need to ensure this not happening again was not working right. Thank the Lord they got it fixed and it worked properly. Kelli helping Grandma shape rolls! So the morning of Christmas Eve, Shane, Jason & I were getting the ribs and ...

To begin the Christmas Adventure!

What weary travelers we (Shane,Kristi,Kelli, & Daniel) are. If the baby could voice her opinion she is by kicking and doing baby yoga. We traveled down to my folks house in Southern Idaho the afternoon of the 20th & stopped off at Shane sister's house to visit those Nieces & Nephew. The kids had fun playing, with the cousins & Aunts. Opened presents and then loaded kids back up in Car and continued journey. When we got to my parents house on the 21st let the kids unwind with Grandpa and the next day my cousin Tad with his daughter Dallie came over, played, and decorated the christmas tree. Candy Canes on first! Lets Spread the decorations up higher and around the tree Dallie and Grandma helping. With help we got the decorations to the top of the tree, it was fun and enjoyable too all ages. I will continue to post pictures and adventure notes the rest of the week. Love, SKKD

Hours of Entertainment! Shane & Kelli's catnap.

Bye Bye Logs!

Image
The kids got to see something new today. The Log truck came and picked up the 5 biggest logs from the trees we had cut before Thanksgiving. It gives the driveway a new look and more room. Hopefully the check will pay for the truck. It is nice for the room if anything. The Log Truck & 3 biggest logs that the Tractor couldn't move! Picking them up as if they were mere branches. Empty Space for now. I will take another picture of the driveway facing the house. But pictures don't do it justice. Have a wonderful weekend! God Bless, Love, Kristi & Crew

Fun with Aunt Neva & Dawna

Image
Today was a fun day for the kids, Aunt Neva & Dawna came to play. Also we got to see cousin Bryn who is growing up. This week is going by quickly we are all healthy so far so we were able to go to MOPS Tuesday where Kelli's class came and sang Christmas songs to the MOPS Group. She looked so grown up, she was kind of overwhelmed by all the people, but I saw her lips moving and hand shaking the bells. Thursday is my Midwife checkup which I'm sure will be great. Dakota is a mover and grover, absolutely put out if someone is touching her space. Shane worked late Tuesday & Wednesday nights, hopefully keeping his head above the paperwork. Nothing else to much, just enjoying the season & trying to stay healthy for christmas. Daniel, Kelli & Cousin Bryn Enjoying Aunt Neva! Kelli looking all grown up in new jacket. Love, SKKD

More Escapades of Daniel!

Image
Well something funny as usual happened this morning. The guy came to pick up the Tractor and I couldn't find the keys. I knew where they were the day before and thought "the son of mine has done something with them." So I prayed, searched High, and Low, finally told the man "that my son made them disappear!" But I would find them, then I remembered that he loves our new garbage can. So guess what I did! But I found the keys before the man left with the tractor. The day before he decided that dirt infront of the garbage can tasted better then the Cherrios & milk Mom gave him while she was doing errands for Dad on the computer. I could continue on thoughout this past week. I don't expect any sympathy, since I know I gave my folks some gray hairs and moments they thought and we wanted 3? Not there Dad! Looking for the perfect snow to throw at Ivan. I saw Dad up there, it's my turn right? Have a wonderful weekend, I'm going to try and regain some s...

How the years blow bye

Image
So today is my sister Neva's 9th anniversary. For those going so what, it was at there wedding that Shane & I decided that the other wasn't as bad as we first thought. Of course 3 years had gone by and we had both aged a bit. It's amazing how God works and today we have two wonderful, (if not crazy at moments) kids and a third due in 8 weeks. Here are some cute pictures of Shane and the kids after not seeing him for a while. Most of November he worked till 730 p.m. and didn't get home till the kids were asleep. Pillow fight with Dad, Daniel getting his swing in. Dad trying to defend himself from the pillow attack. Dog pile on Dad!! Shane's commute with the snow wasn't any longer than normal. Not to many people up here braved the snow and ice. Love, SKKD

Funny White Stuff

Well we got our first snow of the season. It usually snows only once down on the flats but it's been snowing since yesterday around 3 p.m., it is actually sticking. I'd say we have about 6 inches or more. We are enjoying the snow. Kelli & Ivan when the snow started yesterday. Daniel first thing this morning. Hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving Love, SKKD

Kelli's New Friend

Image
Here are some more pictures of our project. Good word for what Kelli calls "Daddy made a mess", and my response "Yeah but he's cleaning it up huh." Another fun thing from Thursday & Friday Kelli with her overabundance of charm became friends with Shane's cousin Ty who was visiting. She claimed his lap most of Thursday night when they were watching movies. More pictures to follow. Love us all.

No matter the age.

They all like to play in the dirt with Tractors and shovels. Here are some more pictures of this weekends activities. God has kept them safe thus far, and I praise Him for that. We are having the stump in the middle of the driveway ground this afternoon. So pictures maybe tomorrow. Love, SKKD

New View Out Our Front Door!

Image
Today was the big day we got the trees taken down. The one in the middle and the one off to the side in the neighbors yard. We got everything moved last night and Shane finished up moving fences when the Tree Guys arrived at 7:45. They were done about 1130 with time to eat a Steak and Mashed Potato's Dinner. View of Neighbors Yard View of the drive way along with the Tractor Shane rented! Thank the good Lord everything went smoothly and safely thus far. Even the neighbor agreed they did a good job and my even use them to cut more tree down. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with whom ever you share it with. Love, Shane, Kristi, Kelli, Daniel

On the Go, or Stopped!

Image
It seems true with any Kid I'm sure. Daniel turned 18 months Yesterday, had his checkup today. Weighed 28lbs & 34inches long! I can't remember what sister weighed, she weighed herself during my appointment which also went well. Considering all of us had the eight hour variety flu last week. Shane has been trying to catch up with the day he missed last week. So he's worked late pretty much everyday this week. On the Go! Taking a pause with Dad! Finally crashed on Mom! May God bless the rest of your week. Love, SKKD Lambing

Kelli Art!

Image
For Shane's Birthday I bought Kelli some Finger Paints to make him a Birthday Card. I helped arrange the letters but she did the rest. Brother added a stamp and finger. Thank you to all those who called on and around his Birthday. It added to his special day. I made his Cherry Peach Pie, and had a nice evening with the kids. The Art Work! The Proud Artist! Hope you are all doing wonderfully, God Bless, Love The Lambings

Last Weekend!

Some pictures taken this previous weekend. Big News for this week Shane's 34th Birthday is Tomorrow!! Plans & Pictures will be coming. The kids & I have all sorts of Surprises! Mainly to drive dad crazy, and Dad is already scheming revenge on Mom for our anniversary & Christmas. Oh and Misty, they can't clean the toilet yet but Kelli can clean up her own messes,(with Mom & Dads guidance) and if Daniel thinks Mom is too slow changing diaper he will take it off. And sister will throw it away;-) Boy am I ever cute! Lazy Friday night! Hope all is going well, God Bless, Love, SKKD
