Oye!

Image
Feel like I should update on what is happening in our lives. As I told my Dad "Crazy is the new normal". For those who don't know we are going to be listing our house for sale so in July we can move down to Portland for Shane to start the Seminary Program at Multnomah were is he currently going to school. So I've been doing Spring cleaning with a twist. We've both been doing projects that I've figured "never been done" since we've lived here 6 years almost 7. "Haven't been done" since Kelli was born, or pregnant with Daniel. "Need to do yearly" but haven't gotten to it this year. So between taking Kelli to school, keeping Daniel out of things, Dakota potty training herself, and feeding Seth; I've been working on these projects. Oh and all of them have sinus/allergy stuff going on. Oye! Like I've said "Crazy is the new normal" around here. :-)Playing "Hide & Seek" with Dad Chad showi...

Easter Weekend

Image
This past weekend was a fun but fastpaced time. Shane & I had wanted the Kids to experience so of the fun things we got to do before having them. So we took the kids to the Washington coast met up with Jason, Neva,Thomas, Sidney, Chad, and his Kelly to go razor clam digging. Of course my kids being spring have allergies thus sinus infections. They didn't go to sleep til late or early the next moring. Our Kelli was the only one able to go with Shane in the morning to go clam digging. They had a fun Shane caught his limit. We then did some touring of the town West Port & Grays Harbor. We are thinking we'd like to go again so that the rest of us would be able to dig. Sunday we had a lazy morning, went to Church, came home, hid the eggs, kids found the eggs, then went over to Neva & Jasons for Easter Dinner that Jason's Mom Sharon cooked for us. It was a fun weekend,I'm still playing catch up with my laundry and cleaning. :-) Hopefully it will quit raining so I ...

Kelli's New Cut

Image
As by the title Kelli wanted to look like Aunt Dawna. So this morning after I gave Shane his haircut;I got side tracked with Daniel. When I came back Kelli started to give herself a hair cut. This was taken yesterday! Kelli sporting her new hairdo Aunt Dawna your haircut looks the same as mine!

Seth's trip to Buhl

Image
This past weekend Seth & I flew down to visit my parents & Grandma Dennis. It was a short trip but we got a couple visit's in with Grandma, Aunt Nelma,Aunt Wilda, Cousin Tad,and my high school buddy Alicia. I was sorry I didn't get to see everyone but we'll try again in July. Shane stayed home with the three oldest who have sinus colds, he was a trooper but was ready for me to come home. We are in Kelli's offical spring break week, and I'm trying to find things to keep the kids occupied so that I won't strangle them. :-)Thanks for the weekend Mom & Dad

Time with Grandparents

Image
The end of last week my folks got to spend sometime with the grandkids before heading back home. We appreciate the time they got to spend with us,even though seemed short. Kelli has school today then the rest of the week off for Teacher Conferences, then next week is Spring Break. Why they can't have both on the same week I don't understand. Other than that not a lot going on. It looks like I'll be heading down to Twin this weekend to visit my Grandma who isn't doing so good, health wise. Shane graciously volunteered to watch the oldest three so I could do this. I don't think we'll be getting down as a family until July! So Seth gets his first plane ride.

What a whirlwind

Image
We went into Seth 1 month checkup today. He is already 10 lbs, 23inches. Looking great! Also this last week my sister Dawna had a little girl Ansley Claire on the 10th of March, we all got together Sat. for Jasons birthday and visiting. Kelli had a school activity about Dinosaurs on Friday night. Everyone had cameras out taking pictures so the first one you might see again on Dawna & Kurts website. The brusers with delicate Ansley All we're missing is Jason & Thomas

Fun times this weekend

Image
With it being my birthday weekend Shane & I took the kids down to the beach down by the ferry run. It was windy and about 40 degrees but I don't think the temperature warms up on the Sound. Had a wonderful time and we didn't freeze to badly. Speaking of Shane he returned to work today for good, it was fun having him home and we got quite a few projects done. It's snowing today about 3 to 4 inches right now. Seth is doing great had some good awake time this morning, and is sleeping decently during the night. Daniel is a instant smiler no matter the situation. Which is very nice.

Two weeks

Image
So it's been two weeks since Seth arrived, we had his two week checkup today and I'm pleased to say he weighs 9 lbs, 4 oz. And is 22 3/4 inches long. The older kids are doing good, nothing much to report otherwise. Shane & I are in survival transitioning for him to go back to work next Monday. :-( It's been nice having him home.

Survival mode

Image
Not much to say, we are re-adjusting to our newest member of the family. He is slowly figuring out daytime sleep and nighttime. I know it will work itself out eventually just hanging in there till it does. I finally got a picture of Shane & his boys Aunt Dawna & cousin Bryn when the came to pick up Grammie

Seth Jacob Lambing

Born 2/15 on Grandma Joy's Birthday. 8 lbs 5 ounces, 21 inches, home healthy

No Seth Yet

Since his due date isn't until Sat. I'm hoping he will be a little more cooperative and show up tomorrow or Sunday. Shane being the planner he his at work has days in 6 min. incraments. He & Daniel are cutting up logs and stacking wood in the back yard. We also are looking at tile for the kitchen & bathroom. I will take pictures of the tile we picked. I think it will compliment our house. Kelli has her Kindergarten valentines party today, with the help of my mom she made her box and she signed her name to all the cards we bought. Other than that it's just normal routine, my mom is up helping out with kids for Neva & I. Back to doing laundry!

Updates

We had an exciting weekend with family & friends wrapping up Dakota's Second Birthday. My sister Dawna has pictures on her blog of the festivites. Nothing new to report on the Seth making his appearance, my midwife figures he will be right on time, and weigh appro. 8 lbs. Kids are taking it mostly easy for me & I'm trying to do things that won't make me hurt for three days straight. Not that easy! Shane's last day of work is Friday and my Mom is planning on coming up this weekend to help out next week. Here is a picture of the kids from the other night watching movies with Mom.

Dakota's Birthday

Image
Hard to believe Shane & I's little girl turns 2 today! Doesn't seem possible, but than again all of the kids keep getting older. We had her party with just us, Chad came over for Dinner and shared in the activities. Shane did a good job on getting balloons & some small gifts for Dakota. My Mom sent her an adorabable shirt saying "Happy Birthday to Me!" and a Sweatshirt. The kids got to do art before dinner, and I had lots of help making and decorating the cake. (Lots of volunteers to lick the spatula's.) We have Bible study tonight, then tomorrow we are going out to lunch with my sisters, cousins, and some college friends. It will be a big time but lots of fun.

Fun things happening in our house this last week. Dakota has figured out how to get in her crib when she wants time alone. She hasn't figured how to get out yet. Which isn't that bad of thing. Her second birthday is this Friday, can't believe that she's going to be two. She's grown up so much this past year. Daniel is still pushing boundaries, We bought him a little 57 chevy car fair condition Saturday at Value Village. It now looks like it's ready for the junkyard. It's missing two wheels the dash & steering column are coming out. I will take a picture of it and show the final result. Kelli is swimming by herself for short periods, like 5 feet between Mom & Dad or one of us and the edge of the pool. She is quite the fish now, and we are very proud of her accomplishments. I will get a picture of this because soon I won't be able to fit into my swim suit I've been wearing since Seth is dropping down. I over did it last Tuesday cleaning and...

Waiting Game

Not a lot new going on. . . Waiting patiently for appointments, & updates. I've entered my last month of pregnancy so now it can't go quick enough til Seth arrives. I still have somethings to do before his arrival, but I don't feel like getting those done til February. Kids are doing good just some small health issues.Kelli always ready for her picture to be taken. Dakota in a traditional toddler/cat standoff Daniel still having problems putting socks on his feet ;-)
