Trying to Finish Well!

Been breaking out the rain jackets and boots this last weekend and into this week. Shane & I are in the process of decluttering the house & red shed. We started shorting through books last weekend before the rain started. We pulled down 12 boxes of books & sorted to make 3 boxes to sell, and to resort maybe selling some of the rarer ones on Ebay or craigslist. I've been working on the kids room this week sorting through toys in the room and in the shed, and kids books. I ended up cleaning up the shelves in the living room to have kids books in there since we will be getting rid of the book shelf in the kids room. With adding a toddler bed around November in there. No, I'm not ready to move Dakota into a big bed. :-) I will be tackling Shane & I's room later this week. Still not done just slowly moving forward in this process. Shoot I still have 6 months to go. We did have a sunny day yesterday, so the kids played in the pool.

Not much going on as usual. Kelli & Daniel pushing eachothers boundries and my buttons. Dakota is seeing what kind of mischief she can get into and it overcast outside. We had Kelli's birthday party this last weekend. Sorry for the late notice, thanks to those who were able to make it. Got some great pictures. It was so funny! So about the story, Shane has gotten 3 baseball games for free from a co-worker on the train. They are Wednesday afternoon games, so this one he couldn't make it too and I couldn't find anyone to go with me. Plus it's funnier with my spouse. On the 5th we left the ranch to go to Rapid for Evie's & Andy's wedding. Before the wedding we took the kids to "Storybook Island". Jepito's workshop It is a must see and it's free!!! The day after the wedding we took the kids to "Bear Country" and of course "Flintstone Park". Yes that's a bear infront of our car. Randy didn't see him till Spencer pointed out about the bear wondering the fence line. In front is Ashton, Kyrsten, back Danaka, Dakota, Kelli, Daniel Dwayne is hiding behind the wheel We had fun touring with Wade & Anna +kids, Randy & Misty +kids, Spencer & Meagen, + all of us. We are back at the ranch for a couple more days. I had fun yesterday helping move some cows that had gotten out of their field with the ATV and my flipflops. Wade was driving part of the time, and grandpa was edging with his truck. Have to say that's the first time I've ever done either:-) The mom's doing the conga line...

Were at the ranch and the son doesn't want to get off any horse he's been able to ride. Monkey, Blackie, Beau, four wheeler. We had lots of visiting with cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grandma, & Grandpa Cowboy. Heading to Evie's wedding today, and seeing some sights.

Well our latest journey is to begin bright and early tomorrow! I hope to attempt to blog along the way with Shane bring his laptop for school with us. In his excitement and to help me Shane packed the car topper last night, I do have to do some rearranging since I forgot some things to add. Our car is effiectly weighed down. Kids are excited about seeing cousins and Gramma & Grandpa Cowboy/Ingalls and of course Blackie and Bo. Dakota having some cuddle with Mom at Grammie's house. To morrow is Papa Fred's Birthday. We love you and send you Birthday Greetings from the Gang in Washington. Thank you for being a great example of Father & Husband to your kids. Hey all, well the kids and I had a grand time in Idaho, playing with Papa, Grammie, Aunt Neva, Aunt Wilda, Garrett, Colton & my friends from long past kids. The kids got to ride horses, go swimming, ride in a parade, and go to a wedding. "Daniel goes Yeehaw" Kelli trying the trot on Dipstick Kids and cows trying to figure eachother out Swimming fun the getting in part Aunt Wilda, Daniel, Dakota, and Grammie, Kelli in the red hat waving to Aunt Neva & Grandpa Tessa, Kristi, Jannell (the Bride), Joel, Kaelynn(flowergirl) Sarah, and Tiffany. Friends since Elementary School, Tiffany we met this last week and she fits are group perfectly.

Hi Y'all, Well Kelli is officially out of Pre-school, she has yet to pass her hearing test so when we get back from South Dakota this July I have an appointment with the Nose, Throat, Ear specialist to get her ears tested further and see what our options are. We are praying that it clears up before then so she won't need tubes or anything like that. It seems the most common thing for specialist to do these days. I've heard were the tubes help, and where there was an underlying problem that wasn't diagnosed until after the tubes failed. So just pray that they heal on there own. Daniel is adding more vocabulary he had his three year checkup, they tested his vision, doesn't know shapes that well, but can recognize letters and numbers. :-) Can't help but smirk at that. Today is my parents (Kristi) 38 Anniversary! Wow & Congratulations. We love you both very much and wish you many more years together. Shane, Myself, & Kids are sick but on the mend. Hehehee from Grandma Dennis book, June 5th 1970 Too Now Love you both!

Lo ng story about hills, three wheelers, & kids. Add in neighbor viewing activity and introducing a four wheeler big wheels, without battery so it doesn't go very fast. Kids love it. Then enter Dakota wanting to join big kids activity, and we have the picture below. Another activity that Kelli & Daniel did the weekend before when the weather was nicer. Superhero! Wednesday were taking Daniel to a baseball game while Kelli is a school and Dakota has her nap. Should provide interesting fun

So God got Shane & I's attention about some things last week. Not a very fun lesson, but one that needed to be reminded to us. As I told Shane yesterday I feel like I stepped on a land mine and I am slowly finding pieces to put back to gether. To recap all three kids are on Anti-botics for ear infections, and finishing up Sinus infection. Kelli's hearing is still not good, but we are using ear candles on her nightly to help clear up the wax in her ears. She will be retested in two weeks. We had beautiful weather this past weekend, the kids and us made the most of it. With playing in the pool and just running around. We had some friends over Sunday and one of Shane Co-workers and family over Monday. They live in the area surrounding Lake Stevens. Sherman is getting fixed today, his little soldiers will be no more. The fine for not having him fixed and licensed is very painful, so I thought it would be best to fix that. On Saturday we had some family & friends old & new come over to play on the completed playyard that Shane & I purchased and put together for the kids. What is that mess?Uncompleted playyard! We ended up having 9 kids including ours and 13 adults. It was a lot of fun catching up with friends we haven't seen in quite a while and chatting with new friends, and seeing my sisters & husbands. Uncle Steve was a good sport once again playing tag with all the kids, pushing them on the swings. Dawna, Kurt, & Bryn stayed for dinner so we were able to chat with them a little bit longer.
